Here is how to track it: power factor on a daily basis, TDD on a weekly basis, monthly averages maintained. And a pre and post-installation measurement to confirm that whatever solution you installed is actually working.
Most facilities skip that last step entirely. They install an Active Harmonic Filter and assume it is working. Harmonics is too difficult to track without proper monitoring โ which is exactly why an IoT-based energy management system should be part of the solution design from day one.
